Baby toy or horror movie prop?

Here's a scary one... Brian slipped up when trimming Ellie's fingernails last night. He clipped the tip of her thumb pretty bad. Her thumb-sucking thumb, no less! It was very sad for all of us. And it bled a lot! We thought the bleeding had stopped when we put her to bed, but this morning we found one of her toys didn't fare so well. Apparently she played with it before falling asleep and now it looks like something from a horror film! Poor seahorse... Hopefully we can get both Ellie and her singing seahorse all patched up.
