Bouncy baby

Ellie has learned how to get some air in her jump-a-roo! She's nuts for the thing. The other day Brian said she bounced in it for almost an hour and was sweaty when he took her out!

So cute! I think she points her toes after she pushes off and looks just like a ballerina!

Why I blog... (by Dorothy)

For many years, "blog" was a dirty word to me. I didn't follow blogs and I never imagined myself writing one.
But that changed in 2009 when I got pregnant and wanted an easy way to keep my family and friends posted on my progress. When Ellie arrived in August, the blog became a great way for me to share pictures and stories — which I know the grandparents and others eat up!
But recently I realized that the blog is important for me, too. It's become an obligation, but not in a bad way. Even when I'm feeling busy and stressed, I enjoy carving out some time every day or two to think about what's new with Ellie and our family. Some of the posts are silly, others are serious. But I already enjoy looking back at the memories recorded here. Thanks for joining us for this crazy ride!
