Ellie got a visit from her friend, Jacob, this past weekend. Jacob is our friends Kris and Melissa's 8-month-old son. The family drove up from St. Louis to visit and meet Ellie. We all had a great time. And Brian and I got a preview of some of the older-baby stuff we have to look forward to. Jacob isn't crawling yet, but he was able to roll around the room and reach for stuff. He also did a lot of fun stuff, like recognize his own name, smile at stuff we did and play with toys. While I'm sort of sad to see Ellie getting bigger each day, I'm looking forward to watching her discover new things and be able to do more. Then we will really have our hands full!
