Ellie had a "date" this past Saturday night with our friends' son Colin. He came over with his parents, who watched Ellie for a couple hours for us while we attended a dinner for one of Brian's co-workers. We were thrilled to hear that Ellie played nice most of the evening and the two had a great time (despite Ellie's sour expression in the photo!)...We've done a couple babysitting swaps with Mike and Lia, since they also don't have family in town. It's a nice way for each of us to get out without the expense/hassle of a paid babysitter. We're lucky to have the Hansons! Ellie and Colin are having another playdate this weekend, with all the parents getting to hang out, too... so hopefully the fun will continue!
