Brian is home with Ellie this week while I return to work. Ellie will start daycare next week.
When I left this morning, dad and baby were both in pajamas and they looked pretty happy. I think this week will be a great bonding experience for Brian.
I, however, am having a tough time returning to work. Brian is being very supportive... and also injecting some silliness. He called me a few minutes after I arrived at work to let me know that Ellie had just sneezed.
"What should I do?" he joked.
I'm sure he and Ellie will be fine this week. Now I'm just wondering how I'll make it through to lunch when I'm going home to visit.
